It has been revealed that Team SoloMid, frequently referred to as TSM, has added Dr Pepper to its growing list of sponsors. Announced by Dr Pepper itself, this move has been described as a “key partnership” that allows the soft drink brand to get involved with the esports industry.
TSM is the first major esports team to receive sponsorship from Dr Pepper, and the organisation will create dedicated content to showcase its partnership with the brand. Discussing his brand new business venture, TSM’s CEO, Andy “Reginald” Dinh explained that he remembers “Dr Pepper’s part in esports while I competed in MLG back in Seasons 1 & 2 – it was really cool to see Dr Pepper given away to fans everywhere.”

The deal was negotiated by leading esports agency Catalyst Sports & Media, which promises to fruitful for both parties. TSM is also in partnership with companies Logitech, HTC, Twitch, HyperX, CYBERPOWERPC, Geico, and Gillette. TSM is looking to make its partners proud when it competes in the NA LCS, which kicks off on January 20.
