Evil Geniuses Returning to Call of Duty

evil-geniuses-logoThe return of one of the world’s biggest eSports organizations to Call of Duty has been confirmed as Evil Geniuses announce their new roster.

Although the official news was only posted on Monday 21st of November, avid EG fans have been waiting since Friday 11th’s slip up by Playstation, revealing that the organization would be fielding a roster at the Experience Invitational tournament on December 3rd.

Based in North America, EG are a subsidiary of the GoodGame Agency, which in turn is owned by Amazon through its Twitch division. Featuring top level players across games such as DOTA2, Halo and Starcraft, the organization have been absent from the CoD scene since mid-2014.

Last seen winning at ESWC 2014, the Evil Geniuses squad disbanded after Ian ‘Crimsix’ Porter made the switch to OpTic Gaming’s first team, with Damon ‘Karma’ Barlow and Tyler ‘Teep’ Polchow joining OpTic Nation.

The new squad features former Luminosity Gaming players, Jeremy ‘Studyy’ Astacio and Anthony ‘NAMELESS’ Wheeler. They team up with former Elevate player Jared ‘Nagafen’ Harell and Colt ‘Havok’ McLendon.

After competing at the Playstation Experience Invitational at the start of December, the team will travel to Las Vegas to play in MLG’s $100,000 CoD World League tournament.
